Why Green?

The terms "green energy", "green technology", "green earth" or "green environment" might sound familiar to most of us. It is not surprising that those words, even though they are mentioned everywhere around the globe, most people just understand them by the meaning of the words only.

So, why is the green so important?
Have you ever heard of the green environment provide oxygen to us?

Back to science 101, the green plants is one of our source for oxygen. We need oxygen for many purposes and one of the main purpose is to make sure we live; which is for us to breath in. Without oxygen, we can only last for minutes.
The plants during the day with the existence of sunlight will go through a process called photosynthesis. This process turns the carbon dioxide into oxygen. The carbon dioxide is one of the waste produced by us through respiration.
By logic, less plants will lead to less photosynthesis. Therefore, with less photosynthesis, less carbon dioxide will be turned into oxygen. Hence, we will have more carbon dioxide and less oxygen. More information on photosynthesis is available at the following link:
Now, can you imagine why do we need the green earth or environment?
More discussion next on how can we utilize the source without getting into trouble and save the earth.
